App State ROTC Commissioned three Second Lieutenants on August 21st. 2LT Daniel Benei Commissioned as a Military Police Officer on Active Duty. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics. 2LT Seth Burnham Commissioned as a Field Artillery Officer in the North Carolina National Guard. He graduated with a Bachelor in Computer Science. 2LT DJ Poteat Commissioned as a Military Intelligence Officer in the North Carolina Army National Guard. He Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. LTC Jones, Professor of Military Science, presided over the ceremony and administered the Oath of Office after family members pinned the 2LT insignia on their loved ones. He also accompanied the three soon-to-be Lieutenants on a run-up to Howard’s Knob for a pre-ceremony morning view of the town of Boone. The three Second Lieutenants join 12 of their classmates who Commissioned in May. Four more will follow in December. Service and Leadership.
