Tactical Training for the Individual Soldier (TTIS), Fall 2016

On October 7th, 25 cadets from the Appalachian State ROTC Mountaineer Battalion Commando Club participated in Tactical Training for the Individual Soldier. This is the first step in the club's tabbing process and 12 out of the 25 cadets who began the training completed all required events successfully. Required events include the Army Physical Fitness Test, a Ruck March, Resiliency Training and Task Testing. To pass, all individuals had to prove proficient in Tactical Combat Casualty Care, creating and transmitting a medical evacuation request, completing some common military skills task and completing all the physical events. Overall, the event was an excellent opportunity for the members to test themselves physically and mentally and better prepare themselves to be Army Officers.
