The Scabbard and Blade club met with the MOAA, Military Officers Association of America, on Saturday 15th, 2023 from 1100-1330. This event built relationships with the MOAA and Mount Lawn Cemetery as we were able to identify and mark many Veterans gravestones that were not yet on record with the Cemetery. Marking and Identifying Veteran gravestones will allow local communities to pay their respects to our local Veterans of Boone as well as allow families to recognize the appreciation our Cadets and community have for those who have served before us. Cadets gained a greater purpose and patriotism through this service! Attached below are some images capturing the event.
