Different Hats, Different Future, Common Past: Commissioned on 3 September 2021 through App State ROTC
2LT George Sizemore branched Transportation in the North Carolina National Guard and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
2LT Garrett Wilson branched Quartermaster in the US Army Reserves and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice International Studies.
2LT Lydia Pearson branched Engineer in the North Carolina National Guard and graduated with a degree in Construction Management.
2LT Adam Hoover branched infantry in the North Carolina National Guard and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.

The four Lieutenants were Commissioned by App State’s Professor of Military Science, LTC Chris Kleman, at the Boone National Guard Armory
The Guest speaker was Major Bryan Miller, a 2007 alumni from the ROTC program and currently the Battalion Logistics Officer for the 130th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade. Major Miller talked about the challenges of Army Reserve and Guard service but also highlighted the opportunities as well. He is pictured receiving recognition for speaking at the ceremony from LTC Kleman.
