ASU ROTC Alumni wins a spot on the Army Warrior Games Team!

Colonel Danny Dudek (class of 92), pictured here with Colonel David Oeschger, recently was named to the 2017 Army Warrior Games Team. COL Dudek was severely wounded in Iraq in 2007. He will be competing for the Army in the swimming, cycling, and racing wheelchair events.

The Warrior Games were created in 2010 by the Department of Defense (DoD) to introduce wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans to paralympic-style sports. The Warrior Games showcase the resilient spirit of today's wounded, ill, or injured service members from all branches of the military. After overcoming significant injuries and illnesses, these athletes prove that life can continue after becoming wounded, ill and injured. The U.S. Navy, in partnership with the city of Chicago, will host the 2017 DoD Warrior Games.
