Captain Bradley Brown

CPT Bradley Brown commissioned as an Armor Officer after earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Missouri in 2008; he simultaneously served in the Missouri National Guard as a Combat Engineer.  His first assignment was with 4th Battalion, 70th Armor Regiment, 1-70th Brigade Combat Team, Baumholder, Germany, where he served as a Tank Platoon Leader, a Mortar Platoon Leader, and an Executive Officer.  While serving the unit, he deployed to Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  After attending the Maneuver Captains Career Course, CPT Brown was assigned to 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) FT Campbell, KY.  With 1-75 CAV, CPT Brown has served as an Assistant Operations Officer and a Security Force Advise, Assist and Train Operations Advisor while deployed to Kunar Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. On February 12th, 2015, CPT Brown assumed Command of Apache Troop 1-75 CAV and deployed to northern Iraq in support of the Operation Inherent Resolve Mosul Offensive.

 CPT Brown is a graduate of Armor Officer Basic Course, Maneuver Captains Career Course, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course, Infantry Mortar Leader Course, International Special Training Center Combat Survival Course (SERE), Airborne, and Air Assault.

 Captain Brown’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Unit Award (2OLC), Bronze Star Medal (2OLC), Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (3OLC), the Combat Action Badge, Air Assault Wings and the Parachutist Badge
